Grand old hip new hotel with so very helpful staff members with management and the rest of the venue staff.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great local tips, the location is amazing, and it's only a 15-minute drive to the zoo.

Newly decorated room and a spotless bathroom. The staff was efficient and attentive and the bed was comfy. Marvellous location with parking onsite.

Clean pool, parking onsite. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and an individual safe in the room and the comfortable bed. Location adjacent to including ghetto, classic California, and Balboa park.

The rooms are newly renovated, clean, and feature a balcony, two queen beds, and high-quality toiletries.

The room was extremely large and although a little tired in decoration it was very clean and was clearly representative of the era it was built. The reception and swimming pool area are very impressive, staff were friendly and although it is out of town I found it easy to get buses downtown and it only took 10 minutes.

The breakfast area could be more comfortable

the bath room wasn't clean enough, the coffee maker wasn't clean there were still the used packed of coffee inside it. While I was trying to pour coffee in the breakfast room I found a cockroach on the table ,I called the waitress and showed it to her but she couldn't catch it... We were four people in the room two kids and two adults , all we found in the bathroom is 1 ounce of shampoo and no conditioner....

Comfortable room with central heating, a safe, and multi-channel TV - loved having those! The location is absolutely beautiful, perfect for a longer getaway. 🏞️ Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, it really adds to the experience.

Overall, the location of this hotel is good for travelers who have a car.

First of all, wifi access was almost impossible. Today, many people use wifi with their laptops and ipods. It was so inconvenient. Secondly, house-keeping was not very good. They didn't change bed covers and just they remake the bed with the used covers. Lastly, the room had too thin wall, so I could hear all the noises from the room next to mine. It was so annoying. I booked this hotel because I wasn't able to find any room.

It was laid back and had free parking and a waffle maker for breakfast. For a lower end hotel, that's not bad.

They advertised a free happy hour social not mentioning the day of the week making us think it was daily, we were sad to find out that was not the case. The pool party was lively but would have been distracting/loud had we had room near the action.

It's an ideal place for staying and exploring San Diego. It's 2 miles away from San Diego Natural History Museum. When I am in San Diego, I like staying here.

The decor was very nice, the room were big and had a separeate tv room with a couch that pulls out into a bed.

Hotel was under construction but it didnt affect the rooms.

Comfortable sleeping space with a pleasant view of the surroundings 🌅. the location was quiet and convenient, just a short stroll away from all the places I wanted to visit.
